Following the directive from the\nGovernment on 12th March 2020, MARIAM\nALBATOOL<\/strong> School<\/strong> closed on Friday\n13th March and will remain closed until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How will we stay in touch while\nschool is closed?<\/strong> <\/strong>Throughout the school\nclosure we will keep in regular contact\nwith parents by email (albatool@melita,com; info@mariamalbatool.com) and by phone,\n21664791, 21820644. Mr. Kenneth will be in his office every Tuesday and Ms\nDebbie every Thursday. The secretaries\u2019 office will be open every Monday,\nWednesday and Friday from 0900hrs till 1200hrs, while you may contact Mr. Brian\non the school\u2019s facebook page ~ Mariam Albatool School or the website: www.mariamalbatool.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How will the school deliver a\ncontinued education to my child during closure?<\/strong> Many of you and your children will have\nreceived emails from teachers piloting teaching methods, giving instructions\nand generally setting things up. We are working hard with a common goal that is\nto ensure that our students continue with their education. Our teachers and\nLearning Support Educators are constantly providing online lessons while\nsending and receiving students\u2019 work on their class facebook page and other\nmediums. Please ensure that your child is daily accessing the class page and is\nin regular contact with his or her teachers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Will my school fees be affected?<\/strong> <\/strong>There will be no change<\/strong> to\nthe fees payable for pupils. I am sure you can understand that the closure\nhappened as a result of a Force Majeure<\/em> (i.e, circumstances beyond\nour control). <\/strong>Notwithstanding this\nour teachers and LSEs are doing their utmost in order that your children\ncontinue to receive their education. Therefore kindly take this as a formal\nreminder that the fees for the third term are now due<\/strong>. It is appreciated\nthat for the safety of all, payment is effected online or deposited at the bank\nin order that we limit contact (details hereunder). Should this not be possible,\nyou may effect payment at the secretaries\u2019 office on Mondays, Wednesdays and\nFridays. We kindly appreciate that you produce the exact amount as we may not\nhave change. Also kindly observe the distance of at least one metre between one\nperson and the other as recommended by the Health Dept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are expecting your total\ncommitment and cooperation and thanking you in advance for your payments. The\nschool is in dire need of the fees and failing to effect payment may inhibit\nthe children\u2019s education.
